About

In order to grasp the social anchors of mathematics in their diversity, the corpus of "mathematical journals" has been constructed by bringing together periodicals that either publish regularly mathematical contents or texts relating to a mathematical activity, or are considered as "journal". mathematical reference "by a community.

The database of mathematical journals that organizes / structures this corpus reflects its complexity by serializing it according to parameters such as audiences, geography, temporality or the type of newspaper (generalist, scientific, specialized ...). In accordance with the methodology proposed for the Cirmath project, it gives rise to global, statistical and cartographic approaches, which in turn interact with case studies (disciplinary, geographical, etc.).
